So we never made it to Nanjing yesterday. After boarding our flight around 5pm, the plane drove around the airport on the ground, while repairs where attempted in various locations. Around 1030pm, back to the gate to unload. Flight canceled: finally got to an airline provided hotel at 230am, with instructions to report to the lobby at 5am, at which time we learned our flight is again delayed.

We looked at various options, including trying to fly to Shanghai instead, but for now, sticking with this delayed flight seems to be the best option, since it appears from the inter webs they’ve changed the actual plane.

The flights to Korea where uneventful, and I managed to snap the above picture from the lavatory as we flew over Hudson Bay.

We’re in good spirits and clean, what else can a person ask for?
